Recently I’ve had the privilege of working with the National Chrysanthemum Society. They were looking to work with someone who could design and print their annual Year Book, and at the same time freshen up the look of the content. Whilst keeping to the colour scheme and general cover design/layout of the previous books for consistency, I created a more up-to-date look inside, using full page images, section headers and footers and structured/coloured tables and text blocks to make the content a bit more visually appealing and easier to read. 👍
I’m really pleased with how it has turned out – the colours look really vibrant and the perfect bound book binding with spine creates a smart looking finish. I’ve had extremely positive feedback from the National Chrysanthemum Society – they were all really pleased with the 700 books! I’ll be working with them again on their yearly ‘Panorama’ book, which is a very similar style of publication, and also designing and printing some promotional materials for their shows.
